Él mismo nos lo cuenta:
«La idea al hacer estas miniaturas fue jugar con la modulación del verde, y no envejecerlos mucho, por que su incorporación al conflicto en la Segunda Guerra Mundial fue muy tardía. Aún así apliqué un poco de barro y polvo con pigmentos, y algún desconchón. He realizado filtros con óleos, en algunas zonas para diferenciar más si cabe los distintos tonos verdes»

He himself tells us:
«The idea was to paint these miniatures playing with green modulation, not aging them too much, their inclusion in the conflict of the Second World War was very late. Still I applied some mud and dust with pigments, and some chipping. I have done with oil filters, in some areas more so to differentiate the different green tones»
