Brodir Of Mann

Sorceror and Kingslayer. Brodir was a Dane from the Isle of Man who lived during the late 10th and early 11th centuries. His name is mentioned in Njal's SAGA and in Irish chronicles as a leader and band of raiders, mercenaries and quarrelsome lads. in 1012, Sigtrygg Silkbeard, King of Dublin, approached him to join him in his fight with Brian Boru, High King of Ireland. Thanks to his "magical" chainmail (or his insolent luck) Brodir has an armour of 6, in Melee and against Shooting attacks. His Armour may never be reduced below 5 by any means (either SAGA abilities, game effects or anything else). More rules for Brodir are in SAGA: Raven's Shadow. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
